What can the GRAICE health assistant do?
Your Health Assistant answers questions about your own health record and about healthy living. It is part of GRAICE Pro.
Open it
Click the round GRAICE orb in the side menu (Open GRAICE assistant). On a phone, you may see an Ask GRAICE anything… bar at the bottom instead. Type your question and click Send. Click New chat to start over.
What it can do
- Answer from your record: your medications, allergies, conditions and upcoming visits. Try "What medications am I taking?"
- Talk about diet, exercise, sleep, stress and habits, in general terms.
- Help you prepare questions for your care team.
- Check a suggestion against your allergies, conditions and medications and tell you to confirm with your care team.
It only ever sees your own information.
What it won't do
- It is not a licensed provider. It doesn't diagnose, prescribe or change treatment.
- It won't help with tasks that have nothing to do with your health, such as writing code or homework.
- It won't discuss other people's health.
- If it doesn't find something in your record, it says so.
If your message talks about harming yourself, the assistant is built to show crisis help instead of an answer, on any plan. Don't rely on it. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 now, or call 911.
For anything urgent, contact your care team. In an emergency, call 911.
If something goes wrong
- Something went wrong answering that. Try again. If it keeps happening and you are on the Free plan, the assistant may need Pro. See Membership.
- The assistant is temporarily unavailable. Try again in a moment.
