How do I connect Google Workspace for telehealth and calendar sync?

Each clinician connects a Google Workspace account under Integrations. Personal Gmail accounts cannot be used.

How do I connect Google Workspace for telehealth and calendar sync?

Connecting Google Workspace unlocks telehealth, calendar sync and transcripts. Google Meet creates the video visit links, and calendar sync keeps GRAICE and Google Calendar in step.

Who can do this: every clinician connects their own account. Administrators also see a clinic-wide check.

    Connect your account

    1. Go to Settings → General → Integrations.
    2. On the Google Workspace card, select Connect.
    3. Sign in with your clinic's Google Workspace account and leave every requested permission ticked.
    4. The card shows Connected and your Google email under Connected Account.

To remove it, select Disconnect and confirm. Meet links, calendar sync and transcript features stop working until you reconnect.

    If something goes wrong

    • "Connect a Google Workspace account; personal Gmail accounts can't be used." Reconnect with a Workspace account.
    • "Google didn't grant every permission GRAICE needs, so nothing was connected." Try again and leave all permissions ticked.
    • "Your connected Google account isn't a verified Google Workspace account, so telehealth and calendar sync are paused." Reconnect with your clinic's Workspace account.

    Clinic-wide check for administrators

The Google account check card on the same page lists clinicians who should reconnect, labeled Personal Gmail or Not yet verified. It also shows the cut-off date after which GRAICE stops accepting those connections, or says no cut-off date is set yet.

GRAICE can check that an account is on a Google-hosted domain, but not that your clinic has accepted Google's BAA. That is done in your Google Admin console.
