How do I read and export practice reports?

See clinic-wide numbers for patients, visits, revenue and tasks, choose a date range, and export or print them.

How do I read and export practice reports?

Reports & Analytics shows clinic-wide totals and trends. It shows counts and rates, not individual patient records.

Who can do this: clinicians, and Full Access or Administrative Staff / All Billing members. These roles have Reports in the sidebar. Only clinicians, including Full Access members with Licensed provider on, can export reports.

    View reports

    1. Open Reports.
    2. Choose a date range: Today, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days, Quarter to date or Year to date. Ranges follow your clinic's time zone.
    3. Pick a tab.

    The tabs show:

    • Overview: Total Patients, Appointments, Encounters, Collection Rate, Avg Wait Time and No-Show Rate, plus Revenue & Collections for the trailing 12 months, Appointments by Type and Provider Performance.
    • Clinical: Encounters, Prescriptions, Lab Orders and Referrals, plus Top Diagnosis Codes, Notes by Type and Patient Age Distribution.
    • Financial: Gross Revenue, Net Collections, Outstanding AR and Collection Rate, plus Revenue Trend, Top Services, Payment Methods and Membership.
    • Operational: Appointments Today, Completed Today, Cancelled Today and No-Shows Today, plus Appointment Status, Busiest Hours and Task Completion.

Select Refresh to reload the numbers.

Top Diagnosis Codes come from AI-suggested codes in clinical notes. They aren't confirmed diagnoses.

    Export or print

Export isn't available yet for Administrative Staff / All Billing members, or Full Access members without Licensed provider. They can use Print, which prints the tab you have open.

    1. Select Export.
    2. Choose the Export Format: PDF Document, Excel Spreadsheet or CSV File.
    3. Choose the purpose of the export, or select Other (describe below) and describe it in at least 10 characters.
    4. Tick I acknowledge this export contains PHI, then select Export.

Every export is logged for HIPAA accounting of disclosures, watermarked with your identity and subject to audit review. The export covers the date range you chose.

To print the page instead, select Print.

    If something goes wrong

    • "Unable to load analytics data. Please try again later." or a similar message on a tab means that tab didn't load. Select Refresh or try again later.
    • A section that shows "No ... data available" has nothing to show for the chosen range. Try a longer range.
