How do I choose which notifications I get?

Pick email and app notifications for reminders, messages, billing and documents, and set quiet hours.

How do I choose which notifications I get?

Open Settings (gear icon at the bottom of the menu) and choose Notifications.

    Choose your notifications

For each kind of notification, tick the ways you want to hear about it: Email or App / PWA.

    • Appointment Reminders for upcoming visits.
    • New Messages from your care team.
    • Billing & Payments for payments and bills.
    • Document Updates for new documents and lab results.
    • Critical Alerts for important notices.

Credentials is for clinic staff. You can ignore it.

SMS shows Unavailable. Text messages aren't turned on yet.

Some email is always sent, whatever you tick: security and account emails such as password resets, receipts, and required billing notices.

To get alerts on this device, click Enable on This Device and allow notifications when your browser asks. These alerts only appear while GRAICE is open in a browser tab. GRAICE can't alert you when it's closed.

    Quiet hours

    1. Tick Enable Quiet Hours.
    2. Set the Start Time and End Time.
    3. Optionally, tick Allow Critical Alerts During Quiet Hours so critical app alerts still come through.

Quiet hours hold back app alerts only. Emails still arrive during quiet hours, and the notification bell in GRAICE still records everything. Times are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), not your local time, so set them in UTC. If the start and end times are the same, app alerts are held back all day.

Click Save Preferences to keep your changes. You see Preferences saved. Reset to Defaults puts back the starting choices. Click Save Preferences afterwards to keep them.

    If something goes wrong

    • Error loading preferences: refresh the page.
    • Failed to save preferences: your changes weren't saved. Try again.
    • Blocked by Browser: your browser is blocking notifications. Allow them in your browser settings, then reload.
