How do I set up services patients can book?

Create the services patients can book online, with a duration and price, and turn them on or off.

How do I set up services patients can book?

Go to Settings → Payments → Bookable Services. This is your Service Catalog: the appointment types patients can choose when they book. It's separate from billable services, which are the items you add to invoices. For those, see Billable services and invoices.

Who can do this: the clinic owner and Full Access members. Other team members can see the list but can't save changes.

    Add a service

    1. Select Add Service.
    2. Enter a Name (at least 2 characters).
    3. Pick a Category.
    4. Set Duration (minutes), from 5 to 480.
    5. Optionally, enter a Price ($) and a Description.
    6. Leave Available for online booking ticked if patients should be able to book it online. Untick it for services you only book in the office.
    7. Select Create Service.

Each service in the list shows its duration, price, and Online booking or In-office only.

Requires provider approval has no effect yet. Whether online bookings wait for staff approval is set for the whole clinic by Require Booking Approval under Settings → General → Bookings & Cancellations.

    Linking services to providers

Linking services to providers isn't available yet.

Change, pause or delete a service

    • Edit opens the service so you can change it. Select Save Changes when you're done.
    • Deactivate hides the service from booking without deleting it. Activate brings it back.
    • Delete removes the service. GRAICE asks you to confirm, and this can't be undone. To keep a record of the service, use Deactivate instead.

    If something goes wrong

Errors show in a banner at the top of the page. Select Dismiss to close it.

    • "Failed to load services" means the list didn't load. Refresh the page.
    • "Not found" when you save, or "Failed to delete" or "Failed to update", can mean your role can't change bookable services. Ask the clinic owner or a Full Access member.
