How do I report an error with the Network tab?
Find the HTTP status code of a failed request in your browser so a support ticket can say what went wrong.
How do I report an error with the Network tab?
A status code tells support whether you hit a session problem, a missing record or a real bug. It takes a minute to find.
- Right-click the page and select Inspect, or press F12.
- Open the Network tab.
- Repeat the action that failed.
- Find the red row for the failed request and note its Status code.
- Open Help & Support and go to Scuba Steve. Describe the problem with the status code, the time and what you clicked. Steve offers a ticket after three misses (select Not quite when an answer does not help). Select Yes, create a ticket. The ticket carries your last question, so put the details there.
Never put patient names or other patient details in the ticket.
What the codes mean
- 400 means the app sent something it should not have. Report it.
- 401 means you are signed out or your session expired. Sign in again.
- 403 means your role, or your clinic's setup, does not allow that action.
- 404 means the page or record was not found, or you do not have access. GRAICE answers 404 for both on purpose, so a missing patient and a patient you cannot open look the same.
- 409 means a duplicate or a clash with existing data.
- 422 means the form data failed a check. Review what you entered.
- 500 means something broke on GRAICE's side. Report it.
Not for clinical questions
Support cannot give clinical advice. For a patient's chart, use the GRAICE assistant. See How support works.
