How do I report an error with the status code?

Grab the HTTP status code from your browser's Network tab so a support ticket says what kind of problem it is.

How do I report an error with the status code?

A status code tells support whether a problem is a permission issue or a real bug.

    Find the status code

    1. Right-click the page and select Inspect, or press F12. Open the Network tab.
    2. Repeat the action that failed.
    3. Find the red row and note its Status number.
    4. Put the status code, the time, and what you were doing in your ticket. See How support works.

Do not include patient names or other patient details in a ticket.

    What the codes usually mean

    • 400: the request was malformed or a required value was missing.
    • 401: you are signed out or your session expired. Sign in again.
    • 403: your role does not allow that action.
    • 404: the item was not found, or you are not allowed to see it. GRAICE answers 404 instead of 403 for many protected actions, so check the person's staff role in Settings → General → My Team.
    • 409: a duplicate, or a clash with existing data.
    • 500: something broke on GRAICE's side. This is a bug for the team to fix.
