How do I help someone who cannot sign in because their email is unverified?
See who is blocked at sign-in for an unverified email and send them a new verification email.
How do I help someone who cannot sign in because their email is unverified?
GRAICE requires a verified email address to sign in. Account Verification lists accounts in your clinic whose email was never confirmed.
Who can do this: the clinic owner and team members with the Full Access staff role. Other roles that see the page get "Could not load unverified accounts. Please try again."
Send a verification email
- Go to Settings → Profile & Security → Account Verification.
- Find the person in Unverified accounts. Anyone marked Blocked at sign-in has used GRAICE before and needs action.
- Select Send verification on their row.
You see "Verification email sent". Sending is safe to repeat, but it is limited to 3 per minute per address. If a row shows No address, there is no email to send to.
What the counts mean
- Blocked at sign-in: used GRAICE before and cannot sign in until they verify.
- Never signed in: an invitation or sign-up that was never completed. Nothing to fix.
- Not affected: no password is set, so they sign in another way and the email requirement does not apply.
When nobody is affected, the page says "Every account has a verified email address".
If they still cannot sign in
The email may not have arrived. A previously bounced address is accepted but never delivered, so confirm the address is correct, and contact support if it keeps failing. People can also select Resend verification email on the sign-in screen themselves. A completed password reset also verifies the address.
