How do I keep my credentials and licenses on file?

Add licenses and certifications in Settings, attach supporting documents, and watch expiry status.

How do I keep my credentials and licenses on file?

The Credential Vault holds your own licenses, certifications and regulatory credentials in one place.

    1. Open Settings → Compliance → Credentials & Licenses.
    2. Select Add credential.
    3. Choose a Type, such as State License, DEA, Board Certification, BLS / ACLS, Malpractice Insurance or HIPAA Training.
    4. Enter a Name, such as "Indiana Medical License". Add the State, Profession, Issuing authority, Credential number, Issue date and Expiry date that apply.
    5. Select Save credential.

Credential numbers are encrypted and shown masked in the list.

    Attach a document

    1. On the credential's row, select the document icon.
    2. Choose a PDF, PNG or JPEG file, up to 25 MB.
    3. Tick the box attesting the files are your own credential documents and contain no patient information. Upload stays disabled until you do.
    4. Select Upload document.

Every file is scanned for malware before it can be downloaded. The Scan status column shows progress. A credential without a clean document shows "No document attached". That is information only.

    Watch expiry

The summary strip counts credentials as Active, Expiring (90 days), Expired or Pending. Select Compliance report for a report of your credentials.

To remove a credential, select the trash icon on its row and confirm.
